Pre SIHH 2018: Vacheron Constantin Overseas Dual Time

Vacheron Constantin reveals the new Overseas Dual Time, a practical and comfortable watch dedicated to travelers.

Dual Time

The new Dual Time shows up with a 41mm case, a six-sided bezel inspired by the emblematic Maltese cross and a translucent lacquered blue dial. The hands and the hour markers are in gold, facetted and luminescent, while across the sapphire crystal caseback shines through the caliber 5110 DT developed and manufactured in-house with the 22 carats gold oscillating weight adorned with a wind rose.

Dual Time

On the dial the hours hand indicates the local timezone corresponding to the user’s current location, while the hand tipped with a triangular arrow shows the time in a reference timezone , generally known as “home time” . A 12 – hour display, adjustable via the crown in both directions (position 1: local time, independent jumping adjustment; position 2: home time, dragging adjustment of both timezones and minut es), along with a day/night indication set to home time, and a pointer – type date display, adjusted and secured via a screw-lock pusher at 4 o’clock and synchronised with local time. The mechanical self-winding caliber is composed by 234 components and by a twin barrel which allows a power reserve of 60 hours.

Dual Time

The Overseas dual time is presented with a stainless steel bracelet with half Maltese cross – shaped polished and satin – brushed links, complete with a comfort adjustment system. Is delivered with two additional straps “alligator leather and rubber “matching the shade of the dial. It is available in steel (€.25.600) and in pink gold (€.40.900). Dual Time
