The watch you can see in the photos embodies the technical and aesthetic values of the Maison. It is a 2006 item, the Reference 5070\u2019s second series, a family of hand-wound chronographs for which Patek Philippe resumed production in 1998. Production of the second series of the Reference 5070 began in 2002 and ended in 2008. It features a 42 mm rose gold case with a silver dial and black graphics, a seconds scale accurate to the fifth, and a tachymeter scale inside the chapter ring. The counters, the 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock and the small seconds counter at 9 o’clock, are large and centered so that the dial is balanced. The heart of the watch is the Lemania-based manual caliber CH 27-70, with a frequency of 18,000 vibrations per hour and a power reserve of about 60 hours. It can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back. Reference 5070 is the last chronograph from Patek Philippe to encase Lemania-based calibres.<\/p>\n
