Despite our efforts, our \u201cInsanity\u201d side sometimes gets the better of us\u2026 that\u2019s why this week we wanted to try something different, combining the world of High Watchmaking to the nautical one<\/strong>, to introduce you the new Vacheron Constantin<\/a><\/span> Overseas Two Tone collection<\/strong>. The models features a style that combines elegance, versatility and a casual look. They have three interchangeable straps that are ideal for every taste and occasion; and they can be changed without any external tool!<\/p>\n

To enhance the excellence of one of the most prestigious and historical watch brands, we decided to match it with another elegant and refined motorboats\u00a0that shares the same values of Vacheron Constantin.<\/p>\n

Now starts the fun… if you are thinking only one boat is enough to make everything \u201cInsanity\u201d, well, you\u2019re wrong! We are not talking of only \u201cone\u201d model, but of the biggest private Riva collection<\/a><\/span> in the world, owned by Mr. Bellini<\/strong>. The collection includes 20 vintage pieces, working and completely original, starting from the very first 1920\u2019s Riva Racer, passing through the Riva Scoiattolo, the Sebino, the Florida, till reaching great icons like the Ariston and Aquarama<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

And that\u2019s not all… when we reached the Iseo Lake, Mr. Bellini first brought us to visit the museum, explaining the history and features of every motorboat<\/strong>, and then he made us live the exalting experience of driving one of his marvelous boats. At the end of the day he showed us the boatyard where they refurbish and take care of those masterpieces. \u201cRefurbishing a boat is an art, and with a Riva is a love story\u201d<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

As with all the best stories, it has been love at first sight… The new Overseas Chronograph<\/a><\/span> with automatic manufacture movement and 42.5mm case<\/strong>, and the Petit Mod\u00e8le with small seconds at 9 o\u2019clock and 84 diamonds set on the bezel<\/strong> perfectly suited the Bellini collection. The lines and colors of the two jewels enhanced each other with exceptional harmony. The silver dial and red gold bezel of the two Overseas completely melded with the wood grain pattern of the mahogany boat and the chrome parts of the Riva<\/strong>, creating a unique effect in pure \u201cla dolce vita\u201d style.<\/p>\n
