It is now available in <strong>three new versions: \u201cChocolate\u201d, \u201cBlue\u201d and \u201cAnthracite Black\u201d<\/strong>. One timepiece with four different faces: it is a unique situation as, usually, Greubel Forsey only creates one edition of each of its platinum timepieces. These versions follow the success of the Tourbillon 24 Secondes Vision,<strong> which was awarded the Aiguille d\u2019Or 2015 by the jury of the Grand Prix d\u2019Horlogerie de Gen\u00e8ve.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.watchinsanity.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/GreubelForsey_Tourbillon24secondesVisionPlatinum_WatchInsanity_01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3828\" src=\"https:\/\/www.watchinsanity.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/GreubelForsey_Tourbillon24secondesVisionPlatinum_WatchInsanity_01.jpg\" alt=\"Tourbillon\" width=\"1000\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 2\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p>During the creation of the Tourbillon 24 Secondes Vision, Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey were confronted with a major challenge: <strong>how to house the mechanism of the Tourbillon 24 Secondes without sacrificing the timepiece\u2019s pure, elegant lines.<\/strong> In other words, how could they reconcile sophistication with simplicity? <strong>The solution was achieved by giving the case\u2019s design a subtle, vertical asymmetry.<\/strong> <strong>By incorporating a sapphire crystal dome into the back of the timepiece<\/strong>, the model\u2019s inventor-watchmakers were able to generate the volume required to house the tourbillon mechanism, thus leading to <strong>a perfect alchemy between performance and comfort.<\/strong> Over and above its showcase function, the sapphire dome captures luminosity and channels it into the interior of the timepiece, allowing the tourbillon to be viewed through a veritable stream of light.<\/p>\n<p>Among this timepiece\u2019s most noteworthy features are its two curved tourbillon bridges, with their delicately hand-polished surfaces. To attain such symmetrical perfection in the nishes of the three-dimensional tourbillon bridges is no mean achievement, and indeed each bridge is discreetly signed by the artisan decorator who has executed it \u2013 a good way to celebrate the excellence of such watchmaking crafts- manship. Furthermore, in keeping with the highest standards, the movement\u2019s 293 parts, whether visible or not, feature the very best hand finishing that can be found today.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.watchinsanity.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/GreubelForsey_Tourbillon24secondesVisionPlatinum_WatchInsanity_02.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3829\" src=\"https:\/\/www.watchinsanity.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/GreubelForsey_Tourbillon24secondesVisionPlatinum_WatchInsanity_02.jpg\" alt=\"Tourbillon\" width=\"1000\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>The multi-level gold dial of this timepiece, in Salmon, Chocolate, Blue or Anthracite Black, features engraved indexes (or gold appliqu\u00e9s depending on the version) lled with grand feu enamel. The hour, minute and small seconds hands are made of polished steel, which is blued in some of the versions.
