Large dimensions, with its 49mm diameter and 12mm height cases.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>On paper, \u201ceverything but feminine\u201d, I thought before visiting the <strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><a style=\"color: #000000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.meccanicheveloci.com\/en\" target=\"_blank\">MV House<\/a><\/span>, the Italian-Swiss brand\u2019s headquarters in Plan-les-Ouates, in Geneva luxury watch manufacturers district.<\/strong> Entering the restored industrial building, a kind of modern mechanic workshop with vintage motorbikes and car parts, reinforced my initial idea.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.watchinsanity.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Meccaniche-Veloci-MV-House.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3319\" src=\"https:\/\/www.watchinsanity.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Meccaniche-Veloci-MV-House-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Meccaniche Veloci Icon\" width=\"980\" height=\"735\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.watchinsanity.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Meccaniche-Veloci-MV-House-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.watchinsanity.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Meccaniche-Veloci-MV-House-600x450.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.watchinsanity.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Meccaniche-Veloci-MV-House-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.watchinsanity.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Meccaniche-Veloci-MV-House.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 980px) 100vw, 980px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, after touching and seeing the timepieces with my own eyes, presented by the <strong>Executive Chairman Cesare Cerrito<\/strong>, I noticed an extreme attention to the detail and a great care for the design, the finishings and the materials, which wasn\u2019t clear in the brand\u2019s product images. The greatest astonishement came as I tried the <strong>diamond-paved version of Meccaniche Veloci most iconic watch, called Icon<\/strong>, on my wrist.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.watchinsanity.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/MeccanicheVeloci_Icon_WathInsanity01.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3320\" src=\"https:\/\/www.watchinsanity.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/MeccanicheVeloci_Icon_WathInsanity01-923x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Meccaniche Veloci Icon\" width=\"923\" height=\"1024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.watchinsanity.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/MeccanicheVeloci_Icon_WathInsanity01-923x1024.jpg 923w, https:\/\/www.watchinsanity.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/MeccanicheVeloci_Icon_WathInsanity01-600x666.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.watchinsanity.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/MeccanicheVeloci_Icon_WathInsanity01-270x300.jpg 270w, https:\/\/www.watchinsanity.it\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/MeccanicheVeloci_Icon_WathInsanity01.jpg 1536w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 923px) 100vw, 923px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I overcame my prejudices and I had to admit myself that I felt comfortable wearing the bold model, despite the large dimensions and its four dials design, <strong>reminiscent of a piston<\/strong>. Not to mention the high quality watchmaking, since the model features the <strong>MV 8801, the first Meccaniche Veloci movement, allowing \u00a0for \u00a0the \u00a0separate \u00a0and simultaneous \u00a0tracking \u00a0of \u00a0four different \u00a0time zones.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A new, pleasing discovery in the ladies watchmaking universe.
