Produced as a\u00a0limited edition of 500 pieces<\/strong>, the BR-03 Helipad stems from an idea as simple as it is effective: the continuous motion of a seconds hand recalls the rotation of a helicopter\u2019s rotor blades. From this analogy, Bell & Ross has created a dial that becomes a miniature animated scene, with a helicopter seemingly hovering above its helipad and every element of the aircraft playing a role in the display of time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS: AVIATION ON THE WRIST<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

To truly understand the\u00a0BR-03 Helipad<\/strong>, one must start with the relationship between Bell & Ross and aviation. Since the brand was founded in 1994, the world of professional instruments has represented one of its main areas of exploration, but it was with the launch of the\u00a0BR-01 in 2005<\/strong>\u00a0that this connection found its most recognisable expression. The famous\u00a0\u201ccircle within a square\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0concept, with four screws at the corners, symbolically transferred a cockpit instrument directly onto the wrist and became the Maison\u2019s defining aesthetic signature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The\u00a0hours<\/strong>\u00a0are displayed on a rotating black disc representing the helipad, with a yellow marker coated in\u00a0green-emission Super-LumiNova X2<\/strong>\u00a0moving around the peripheral scale. The\u00a0minutes<\/strong>\u00a0are indicated by the helicopter itself, with the nose of the aircraft serving as the reference point against the outer scale. To house this unusual dial architecture, Bell & Ross has chosen the contemporary\u00a041 mm BR-03 case<\/strong>, a size that retains the collection\u2019s characteristic wrist presence while offering greater versatility than the proportions of the original BR-01.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The case is crafted from\u00a0micro-blasted black ceramic<\/strong>, with a matte finish that reinforces the watch\u2019s technical character and creates a sharp contrast with the yellow elements of the dial and strap. The case measures just\u00a010.60 mm thick<\/strong>, while water resistance is rated to\u00a0100 metres<\/strong>. Protecting the dial is an anti-reflective sapphire crystal, an especially important feature for a watch in which the visual experience lies at the heart of the entire concept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
