The new edition \u2014 the seventh \u2014 of VO Vintage, the marketplace open to the public and with free entry (upon registration on the event’s website<\/a>), will take place from 5th to 8th September, coinciding with Vicenzaoro September. The location, beautiful as always, is the usual one: the charming lounges on the upper floor of Hall 8.1 at Vicenzaoro, the number one trade show in Europe for the B2B jewellery supply chain \u2014 therefore for industry professionals \u2014 and a flagship event for IEG Italian Exhibition Group, a company listed on the Milan Stock Exchange and a global reference in the organisation of trade fairs across Italy (Vicenza, Rimini and Arezzo), the USA, the United Arab Emirates, China, India, and South America.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"VO<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The news is that VO Vintage is doubling since, following the success with exhibitors and visitors during the January edition this year, IEG has decided to repeat the enterprise to satisfy collectors and enthusiasts alike. Indeed, since the first edition in January 2020, we have observed steady and quality growth for this event \u2018Made in Veneto\u2019. The vintage fair, which confirms itself as the Italian benchmark for both quantity and quality of specialist dealers, stands as the national reference for the safe purchase of vintage watches and jewellery. In detail, there are more than thirty watch exhibitors (and an equal number of jewellery dealers), headed by international dealer Andrea Foffi, who was the curator of the superb exhibition \u2018Magister \u2014 A Unique Andrea Foffi Speedmaster Selection\u2019 in collaboration with Omega, and recently created an extraordinary limited edition in six pieces, with Piaget, of the Black Tie featuring platinum case and onyx dial with baguette-shaped indices.

WATCH INSANITY TALKS LIVE-STREAMED AND OTHER EVENTS<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Once again, WATCH INSANITY is a media partner of the initiative, organising two talks. On the morning of Saturday 6th September (Sala Canova, starting at noon and live-streamed on the VO Vintage YouTube channel), there will be a debate entitled \u2018Vintage and Pre-Owned at the Crossroads. The second-hand market in the hands of super-experts is tempting official brands: the new challenge for high-end watchmaking.<\/strong>\u2019 The guests will include three important dealers: the aforementioned Andrea Foffi (owner of Vintage Watches and Cars), Marco Cesari (co-founder of Perusia Watches), and Antonio Nocco (Il Quadrante). At 3 pm on the same day, again in Sala Canova, there will be an interesting chat with Marcello Binda, one of the greatest watch entrepreneurs in Italy who, in the past few years \u2014 with consultancy from Beppe Ambrosini \u2014 has relaunched Wyler Vetta, one of the historic family-run companies. This talk is titled: \u2018Wyler Vetta, past, present and future. How to recreate the identity of a historic brand.<\/strong>\u2019 Both events will be moderated by Jacopo Giudici and Michele Mengoli, respectively editor and managing director of WATCH INSANITY, together with Bruno Bergamaschi, co-founder of Watchouse, and a very popular Instagrammer known as \u2018Giorgione.\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As tradition dictates, the calendar of events \u2014 including talks and workshops \u2014 is incredibly rich, offering opportunities to meet and compare notes with Italy\u2019s greatest experts in both the watch and jewellery industries. Among these, it is worth mentioning at least the preview exhibition of the watch auction \u2018The One, for passionate only<\/strong>\u2019 by Spangaro & Co., which will be held subsequently on 27th September in Venice. Also, the information session focused on timepiece maintenance with the watchmaker-influencer Irene Baiardi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
