From 10 to 25 June 2023, the public and devotees may immerse themselves in the world of the last remaining independent family-owned Genevan watch manufacture. Here they will discover a decor of more than 2,500 square meters transporting them to the atmosphere of the streets of Geneva and the lakeside and taking them behind the scenes of Patek Philippe itself.\u00a0The largest exhibition ever organized by the manufacture<\/strong>, this event is accompanied by the launch of\u00a0six limited editions<\/strong>\u00a0showcasing several areas in which it excels: the Grand Complications, with a new Quadruple Complication making its global debut and an exclusive version of the World Time Minute Repeater; the complications useful in everyday life, with the first World Time wristwatch endowed with a date display synchronized with local time; the ladies\u2019 complications, including a refined reinterpretation of the Moon Phase model; and the classics of timeless elegance, with a pair of Calatrava models featuring a sleek new case.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

QUADRUPLE COMPLICATION REF. 5308P-010 LIMITED EDITION TOKYO 2023<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Launched as a world premiere in a limited edition of 15 watches, the new self-winding Reference 5308P-010 unites a minute repeater, a split-seconds chronograph and an instantaneous perpetual calendar in apertures<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"PATEK<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This timepiece for connoisseurs has its origins in the Triple Complication Reference 5208 (2011), with minute repeater, chronograph and instantaneous perpetual calendar. The addition of a split-seconds mechanism, a voracious consumer of energy, posed a formidable challenge. The\u00a0new caliber R CHR 27 PS QI<\/strong>\u00a0movement (799 parts), with a platinum mini-rotor increasing the winding power, is distinguished by two patented innovations reducing energy consumption with regard to the clutch and the split seconds. The monopusher chronograph has 60- minute and 12-hour counters at 3 o\u2019clock and 9 o\u2019clock respectively. The split-seconds hand is controlled by its own pusher at 4 o\u2019clock. The instantaneous perpetual calendar ensures the advance of the disks in 30 milliseconds in the 3 apertures for the day, date and month arranged along an arc and in the leap-year aperture, on the\u00a0rose-gilt opaline dial<\/strong>. The\u00a0fully polished 42mm platinum case<\/strong>\u00a0is distinguished by its pierced lugs. It is worn on a strap in shiny chocolate brown alligator leather, secured by a platinum fold-over clasp<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This limited edition of 15 watches stands out by its dial center adorned with a tiny masterpiece of rare handcraftsmanship \u2013a\u00a0Grand Feu cloisonn\u00e9\u00a0<\/em>enamel decoration representing the historic Chuo district in the center of Tokyo<\/strong>.\u00a0The name \u201cTokyo\u201d appears in red on the city disk<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Launched in 2017, Reference 5531 made its mark as the first minute repeater that always chimes the local time; that is, the time in the time zone selected at the 12 o\u2019clock position and displayed by the center hands. Patek Philippe equipped it for that purpose with the\u00a0new self-winding caliber R 27 HU<\/strong>, notable for its original, patented construction. The local time is displayed by a pierced hour hand in rose gold, its silhouette inspired by the Southern Cross constellation. The 452-part movement resides in an elegant\u00a040.2 mm rose-gold case<\/strong>its case band and minute-repeater slide embellished with a hand-guilloched \u201cClous de Paris\u201d, or hobnail, motif.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Issued in a limited edition of 300 watches, this new World Time model is endowed with a patented world first: a date display synchronized with local time \u2013 that of the time zone selected at the 12 o\u2019clock position and displayed by the center hands.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To offer this exclusive function, Patek Philippe developed a\u00a0new movement, the ultra-thin self-winding caliber 240 HU C<\/strong>, featuring an innovative, patented differential system (70 parts) enabling it to manage the date of the local time. The\u00a0plum-colored dial<\/strong>\u00a0is embellished with a hand-guilloched center. The date is displayed on the beveled flange of the dial by a center hand in glass with a red tip.\u00a0The name \u201cTokyo\u201d appears in red on the city disk<\/strong>. On the 24-hour disk, which is subdivided into day\/night zones,\u00a0a red rising sun, Japan\u2019s national emblem, replaces the classic sun symbol<\/strong>. An ingenious mechanism patented in 1999 enables the user to correct all the World Time displays, including the date, simultaneously in one-hour steps, by a simple pressure on the pusher located at 10 o\u2019clock.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A new version of the model launched in 2022, this\u00a0limited edition of 200 watches<\/strong>\u00a0is recognizable by the elegant\u00a0shade of pearl gray gracing the dial<\/strong>\u00a0and the alligator-leather strap. The dial shimmers with a sunburst beneath applied Breguet numerals and\u00a0poire<\/em>-style hands, all in white gold. The moon-phase display deviates by merely one day in 122 years in relation to the true lunar cycle. Encircling the dial in\u00a0two staggered rows, 132 brilliant-cut diamonds (1.09 ct) showcase the exclusive \u201cLace\u201d setting<\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Available on the Japanese market since the end of 2022, these two limited editions continue the tradition of \u201cpair watches\u201d. They are endowed with an entirely\u00a0new Calatrava case featuring two-tier fluted and beveled lugs\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 its sleek, timeless lines in harmony with the Japanese sense of refinement. Baton-style applied hour markers and\u00a0cheveu<\/em>-style hands, all in white gold, enhance the dial\u2019s minimalist aesthetic.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
