Creating instruments to serve special forces is the fundamental reason Panerai exists and why we all love it. In recent years, however, the brand has not only limited itself to creating new instrument watches dedicated to the special forces, but has also wanted to bring enthusiasts and collectors directly into the field. How? With limited editions that offer customers unique experiences. Such as in the case of the 2019 Submersible Marina Militare Carbotech<\/a>, a limited edition of only 33 pieces that allowed lucky owners to star in a training session with the Comsubin, the Italian Navy’s Submarine and Incursion Regiment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the wake of this new and exciting approach, Panerai unveils two new models dedicated to the Italian Special Forces: Panerai Submersible Forze Speciali Experience Edition (PAM01238) and Submersible Forze Speciali (PAM01239)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"PANERAI<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Both watches share fundamental technical specifications, though each has a specific aesthetic presence.Their 47mm cases in DLC-coated titanium<\/strong> are fitted with unidirectional rotating ceramic bezels<\/strong>. Dials featuring indexes composed of solid blocks of Super-LumiNovaTM<\/strong> provide maximum visibility in darkness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

And small seconds and chronograph subdials, positioned at 3 o\u2019clock and 9 o\u2019clock, are in bull\u2019s eye formations reminiscent of a marksman\u2019s target.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"PANERAI<\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The P.9100\/R movement<\/strong> that animates the watches is a masterpiece of the brand; the caliber has a three-day power reserve<\/strong> and was conceived and assembled in-house. Its workings include two highly sophisticated complications, the flyback function<\/strong> that allows the chronograph to reset and restart with one press of the pusher at eight o\u2019clock and the Time to Target countdown, which indicates the time until a designated rendezvous.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To operate the countdown the watch\u2019s wearer will repeatedly push the button at 4 o\u2019clock to set the central chronograph hand at the desired interval; pressing the chronograph stop\/ start button at 10 o\u2019clock begins the countdown, indicating the time remaining until arrival at the target and, once it is reached, the time elapsed afterward.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The muscular design of the Panerai Submersible Forze Speciali Experience Edition (PAM01238)<\/strong> and Submersible Forze Speciali (PAM01239) <\/strong>amounts to much more than a collection of handsome details. Every element serves a purpose, to serve the specificdemands of the soldiers that inspired their creation, warriors who must function with split-second accuracy by land, sea or air.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PANERAI SUBMERSIBLE FORZE SPECIALI EXPERIENCE EDITION (PAM01238)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Distinguished by a green ceramic bezel, Panerai Experience engraving on its caseback and a rugged rubber camouflage strap<\/strong>, the Panerai Submersible Forze Speciali Experience Edition is unabashed in its focus on military-ready performance. A second included strap in black Sportech with a Velcro closure<\/strong> offers an option with an understated aspect without sacrificing high-level performance. Also included is a tool to allow interchangeability of the straps and a screwdriver for removing the buckle<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PANERAI SUBMERSIBLE FORZE SPECIALI (PAM01239)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Similarly, the Panerai Submersible Forze Speciali, is limited in number, with only 300 available each year beginning in 2022 at the price of \u20ac. 29,500. <\/strong>The black DLC-coated titanium case is paired with a blue ceramic bezel. On the caseback is an engraving of a Marina Militare frogman, an artful reminder of its capacity for underwater exploits.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
