Only Watch<\/strong><\/a><\/span> is a charity auction that takes place every two years<\/strong>, and the 100% of the proceeds goes to research against muscular distrophy.<\/p>\n

Many watch brands are involved by producing incredible unique pieces<\/strong> \u201cfor Only Watch\u201d.<\/p>\n

Everyone already knew that the Patek Philippe 5016A-010<\/strong><\/a><\/span> was going to be the superstar of the auction, conducted by Phillips in association with Bacs & Russo<\/strong> the 7th<\/sup> of November in Geneva.<\/p>\n

The Steel Minute Repeater, Tourbillon and Perpetual Calendar<\/strong> by Patek have been hammered at the incredible price of 7,300,000 CHF<\/strong>, while it\u2019s estimation was \u201cjust\u201d 700,000-900,000 CHF, and became the #1 highest priced wristwatch of all time<\/strong>!<\/p>\n

\"PatekbPhilippe\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Another great surprise have been the 2nd<\/sup> and 3rd<\/sup> placed, the Richard Mille<\/strong> RM 27-02 Rafael<\/span>\u00a0Nadal<\/span><\/strong> <\/a>(<\/span>estimated 600,000-700,000 CHF) which have been sold for 650,000 CHF,<\/strong> and the F.P.Journe Tourbillon Souverain Bleu<\/strong><\/a><\/span>, estimated 250,000-400,000 CHF and sold for the incredible price of 550,000 CHF<\/strong>. Note that the retail price for the Journe should have been around 170,000 US $.<\/p>\n

The Tudor Heritage Black Bay One<\/strong><\/a><\/span> have been hammered for 370,000 CHF<\/strong>, over 120 times his \u201csmall brother\u2019s\u201d price,<\/strong> I\u2019m talking about the Ref. 79220N, that have been recently released on the market for only 3,100 US $.<\/p>\n

Other independent watchmakers have been sold particularly well, overtaking their retail and estimated price, I\u2019m talking about the MB&F Melchior<\/strong> <\/a><\/span>Only Watch, sold for 75,000 CHF,<\/strong> more then double its estimated and retail price (30,000-45,000 CHF).<\/p>\n
